I am currently trying to make pet sitting my full time job, so I am pretty open when it comes to days and times to take care of your pet/pets. I can not stay overnight due to having pets at home myself to take care of.

I go by all instructions left by pet owner. I know some pets have to stay seperate whether it be when eating or at all times, so they will not be together unless client is okay with it. All pets will be on a leash unless yard is fenced in for them to safely go outside to play. While in the fenced yard I will be there the entire time to supervise play time and to give the attention they need.
Information Tina P. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know their story and talk about their personalities. I do not have a breed preference. I do not discriminate. From pitbulls to tiny kittens, pocket pets, and reptiles I love them all. I would also like to know if they need meds, their current doses, if they need to be separated ect.
A typical day
Depending on the age of your dog I will cuddle on the couch with them, walk in the fenced yard with them, talk to them, throw a ball, frisby, toy for them to fetch, play tug of war with a toy, give treats if allowed, plenty of pets, and belly rubs. If the pet needs to go on a walk around the neighborhood I can also do that.

Pet care experience
My name is Tina and I am a retired veterinary technician with 8 years experience in veterinary medicine and 20 years in animal care. I am looking to pet sit full time. I used to pet sit part time before I moved to Tennessee. I pet sat for 7-8 clients at a time. I take care of animals ranging from dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, farm animals ect. I do not discriminate against dog breeds or pet ages. They are all amazing to me and I have a huge passion for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am 100% comfortable giving medications (pills, liquids, insulin injections, rx diets ect) to your pet if needed. My services would include stopping by to feed, water, give attention to your pet, clean up messes, give meds, let outside to go potty, and make sure everyone is happy and healthy. I will also walk your dog if needed to be leashed walked vs let into the fenced yard to play and potty. I have experience pet sitting for clients with MULTIPLE pets also. I can't wait to meet you and your furbabies!

Tina was prompt and so sweet with my animals. It's apparent she's know what she is doing.
I can, without reservation, recommend Tina as (your soon to be) FAVORITE dog walker/sitter EVER! She is a Veterinary Technician at the Clinic I use in Starkville and we met four years ago in the clinic. The minute I met her, I knew Tina was special. She asked to pick up my high strung, hyper little boy dog and he immediately calmed down! He fell in love with Tina. Not surprising, because all of my dogs have fallen in love with her. She has a calm, unflappable demeanor that my dogs respond to. She has dog-sat and cared for my dogs several times since then and I can honestly say, I feel 100% sure they are well cared for and loved when they are with Tina. That is the important distinction: they are cared for AND LOVED. Truthfully, she is the ONLY person I feel that way about! Prior to Tina, I had other sitters and while they cared for my babies, I'm not certain they LOVED my babies. She does. And of course, the fact that she is a Veterinary Technician is icing on the cake. You know she is a PROFESSIONAL with a calling and not just someone trying to simply make money. She loves what she does and she loves our babies like we do. Tina may sound too good to be true...but she is true. Tina IS THE BEST! You will not regret it.
Tina is the most above and beyond caregiver I have ever met! I worked with her as a veterinary technician and know her as a friend--there's no one better suited to watch your babies. She will do everything in her power to keep them as happy and comfortable as they normally are and ease your mind while you are away from home.
Tina has been petsitting for us for almost two years, and we honestly could not be more pleased with her help! She is reliable, careful, extremely responsible, observant, a very hard worker, and excellent with animals. We have a very complicated routine with a lot of personalities and, because of that, we are always very nervous to leave our pets. Tina pays close attention to all of the instructions, even coming over the week prior to go over everything. She always takes excellent care of everyone, and takes all of our nervousness about leaving away. She gives regular updates, and is always very detailed in communicating anything that needs to be communicated with us. If additional issues arise when we are away, she always communicates promptly and professionally, and takes care of everything. A number of times, we have had completely unexpected situations arise that have extended our travel. Tina has always been extremely kind and generous, always helping us when we were in a bind this way. We honestly don't know how we would have gotten through these last few years without her. Our pets are always in excellent shape when we return (which is no small feat!), and they are always extremely happy and settled, almost like we never left. There are a lot of things we appreciate about Tina, and another is how much she cares about every single pet we have. She always wants to know how they are doing, and that quality in a petsitter or person is not an easy one to find. It really takes a very, very special petsitter for us to not be nervous about leaving, and we have absolutely found that in Tina: we always know what good hands everyone is in with her!
