Loving Care for Hypoallergenic Pups
We are experienced pet owners who take a loving and compassionate approach to pet care. After a few years away from sitting to welcome our son, we’re back — with one important update: we now exclusively care for hypoallergenic and low-shedding dogs (think Poodles, Doodles, Bichons, Portuguese Water Dogs, Schnauzers, and similar breeds) due to our son’s allergy. We sympathize with the worries and concerns that come with leaving your dog in someone else’s care, which is why we treat every guest with the same love and attention we give our own. We have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs — including administering oral medication with confidence and comfort (we don’t do needle injections). Dogs and pets have always been a family staple for us and your pup will be enjoying their stay with our small Australian Labradoodle, Yoti! A typical stay for your pup includes lots of fun and exercise, mixed with lazy snuggling down time. We’re based in Pasadena and serve greater LA, with easy access to some wonderful local parks and tree-lined walking routes — your pup is guaranteed daily strolls, lots of hugs and attention (Shaun works from home), and evenings are usually spent curled up together on the couch, getting belly rubs and winding down after a good day. Your pup has full access to the house and furniture. Please note: your pup must be potty trained, and good with children and other dogs. We know firsthand how much your dog means to your family. Tina was the first sitter I ever used on Rover. She was so great I never went to anyone else for over a year. Tina became our dog's second home. She had a lab who was similar in size to our pit mix. They did Runyon together many times. Once, while we were on a hiking exhibition, we got stuck on a mountain over night and couldn't call Tina to let her know we'd be 24 hours late picking up our dog. Once we got back to cell service we called to let her know and everyone was relived the trip was over. As a thank you we took Tina and her family the worlds most delicious pie from a bakery in Bishop CA. That's the level of love we have for Tina. Sadly we moved away from the West Hollywood area and had to find new dog hosts for our pooch. But Tina was always the best.
Tina and Shaun are just amazing! My dog Bean had the best time with them, and I trust her to their care without reservation (which is saying a lot, Bean is my precious baby, after all!) They know dogs, their place is dog heaven and I am so thrilled & relieved to have found such great sitters. Highly recommend.
Tina is the best! My girls were so happy when they got back that they came to us but then ran back to Tina and Shaun to say bye! I don't think they've ever done that. The updates were great and it was so nice to know that during my most stressful week away at work that Tina and Shaun were there to love my dogs, giving them such loving care.

The best there is! Walter can't wait to get to Tina's place every time we pull up! She send emails with photos every day and is super responsive, organized and caring. We are so incredibly grateful we found her!
Dog Vacay seems to have an error. I've left no fewer than 5 or 6 reviews for Tina. She is great. But for some reason I am suppose to leave a review every time? This is silly. Tina is great every time. I love her! I will always bring my dog back to her.

Schedule
Shaun works from home so your fur baby will lots of supervised time. Daily schedule would consist of an early morning walk followed by breakfast. An afternoon walk and a snack/lunch depending on your pet’s routine, and an evening walk and dinner. Please let us know what your pups’s routine is and any special feeding needs so that we can help accommodate.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog becomes part of our household for the stay — full access to the house, a favorite spot on the couch or chairs, and their bed moved right into our bedroom at night so they’ve got company close by. We recommend packing your pup’s bed and something of yours that smells like home to help them settle in. And since we don’t believe in leaving dogs alone for long stretches, anytime we’re out for more than 3 hours, your pup comes right along with us.
Pets
A typical day
We take walks along Pasadena’s lovely tree-lined side streets near Walnut, Sierra Madre Blvd, California Blvd, and San Marino Ave — lots of grassy patches, new smells, and peaceful strolls your pup will love. We’ve also got fun treat puzzles on hand if they’re up for some mental stimulation, and they’ll have a built-in playmate in Yoti and any other pups staying with us. Nighttime means family snuggle time on the couch watching a movie, weekends often mean a park outing, and every day comes with plenty of hugs and pets..
