I’ve quite literally grown up around dogs since I was six days old and caring for them has been second nature my entire life. Over the years, I’ve shared my home with and looked after almost every kind of pup from energetic giants to tiny lap dogs. That lifelong experience means I intuitively understand canine body language, varying temperaments and unique routines. When your dog stays with me, they get genuine family style care, lots of affection and a calm, capable sitter who truly knows how to make them feel safe and right at home.

Having grown up around dogs since I was an infant, pet care isn’t just a task I fit in, it naturally anchors my day. I plan my routine around structured feeding, regular toilet breaks, plenty of dedicated exercise, and calm downtime. Because I work flexibly, your dog is never an afterthought; they are an active part of my day, getting constant companionship, attention, and the exact walk schedule they’re used to at home.

Because I’ve handled almost every breed and size imaginable, safety and comfort come instinctively to me. In my home, I keep a calm, pet-proofed, family-style environment where dogs are treated like household members rather than guests. In your home, I strictly honour their familiar routines, quirks, and house rules to keep stress at zero. In both setups, I read canine body language closely to make sure they feel secure, and I send frequent photo and video updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I let their personality lead the day. For energetic, playful pups, that means lively games of fetch, tug, scent games, and long countryside walks or park visits to burn off steam. For older dogs or gentler souls, it’s unhurried sniffing walks, puzzle toys, and cozy snoozes right next to me on the sofa. I love discovering what each dog genuinely enjoys and tailoring the fun so they go to bed content and happily tired.
