I also make sure they get mental stimulation with basic training, puzzle toys, or interactive games. For cats, I spend time playing with toys, giving attention on their terms, and creating a calm, cozy environment. Throughout the day, I include feeding times, potty breaks, and lots of affection, while making sure each activity matches the pet’s energy level and personality so they feel safe, engaged, and loved.
