Availability
I currently work nights as a registered nurse, which gives me daytime availability throughout the week to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am available daily during daytime hours for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Due to my work schedule and commute, I am generally unavailable after 5 PM and overnight, but I work 3 days per week which allows me 4 days to provide care. The days that I work each week do vary, so feel free to contact me for specifics. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and fully present during the time I spend caring for each pet.

Because I have a dog at home who is not comfortable around other dogs, I currently focus on dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in clients’ homes rather than boarding. I believe many pets are most comfortable in their own familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routine and feel secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, personality, routines, and any safety concerns to ensure they receive personalized care. Whether it’s keeping dogs safely leashed on walks, monitoring behavior and comfort levels, or maintaining a clean and calm environment during visits, I aim to provide loving care and peace of mind for both pets and their owners.

It’s really helpful to know about each pet’s daily routine, personality, energy level, and any medical needs or medications ahead of time. I also appreciate learning about things like their feeding schedule, walking habits, favorite activities, triggers (such as other animals, loud noises, or separation anxiety), and any commands or training cues they already know. The more I understand about what makes each pet comfortable and happy, the better I can provide consistent care and help them feel safe while their owner is away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy while their owners are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy activities like long walks, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, cuddle time, outdoor adventures, and plenty of play sessions. I also make sure to include mental stimulation and positive attention so they feel comfortable and cared for. For cats, I love interactive toys, laser play, and creating calm, cozy environments where they can relax and feel safe. My goal is always to make their time with me fun, enriching, and stress-free!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was young, I’ve had a genuine love for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to more exotic pets. I truly believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and proper care. I currently have two dogs of my own, one rescue and one I’ve raised since a puppy. They are a huge part of my life, and caring for them has taught me the importance of trust, consistency, and understanding each animal’s unique needs and personality. As a pet caregiver, my goal is to provide the same level of love, attention, and quality care that I would want for my own pets.
