I have had both cats and dogs my entire life. Currently, I am between pets since my 18 year old cat and 14 year old dog passed due to old age. This coincided with deciding to take a hiatus from the corporate world, so I quit my job and thought why not hang out with the dogs and cats of others via Rover. Fast forward a year and I have the Star Sitter status. Please check out my reviews! Your pets will receive full time attention. I will absolutely treat them as my own. For dogs, I am the perfect sitter for those who love hiking, swimming etc as we will be out on adventures every day they’re with me. I’m able to host at my place and I’m also open to coming to yours. If you just need me to drop by for a walk or two and/or feeding, I’m able to do that also. One thing to note for dogs if I’m hosting. There are a bunch of outdoor steps to get to my place, so if your dog is unable to do steps and too big to be carried, my place will not be good for them. If you have any questions, please ask!

This is an easy 5 stars, and it's clear to me why I'm one of many such reviews. Tim was an excellent sitter for Bella. At no point did I have any doubt she was in good hands. Tim is running a dog utopia over there and I'd recommend to anyone in need of a sitter in this area.

Tim was awesome! We had our dogs at our wedding but didn’t want them around for the loud music, so Tim came to our venue to pick them up during dinner! They had SUCH a good time - so many great pictures of the two of them with Tim and other new dog friends to hang out and play with. They are passed out from all of the fun activity
Tim was great, very communicative and responsive. Didn't have any worries leaving our pup with him thanks to the regular updates. Will definitely be using Tim again in the future.
Tim is an exceptional pet sitter. He is responsible, thorough, and took great care of our senior dog. He is congenial and was very caring and sensitive to our dog's needs. He gave our dog his needed medications and took him for a number of walks. He also was responsive to our scheduling and timing needs. We recommend Tim and would definitely use him again.

Schedule
I’ve been working remotely for the past 7 or so years for tech companies. Prior to that I was a lawyer. I am taking a hiatus from corporate work so have nothing but time to hang out with your pets. My schedule is wide open. Your pets will make up the bulk of my recreation.

I live up in Summit Village on Heavenly in a very sunny place with a patio overlooking Lake Tahoe. It’s heaven for cats and dogs. I’m surrounded by hiking trails for the dogs and drive a Bronco that I love to take on adventures which are obviously more fun with dogs! For dogs, those who will enjoy my company most are those dogs who love hiking and swimming. They will have no shortage of stimuli when they’re with me, that’s for certain! If your dog or cat has special needs, just let me know and I’ll be sure to abide by them.
A typical day
For dogs, they’ll begin their day by going out to relieve themselves and run around a bit on the hill behind my place. From there, they’ll get their breakfast at your desired time. I have a patio overlooking the lake where they can hang if they so desire. Plenty of birds and dogs to keep them entertained. We’ll then go on at least one nice adventure per day, generally centered around hiking or swimming. I prefer dogs who are able to be off leash but am also happy to keep them on leash if need be. After they’re tired out from their adventure/s, it’s time for dinner and snuggles. I do allow dogs on both the couch and the bed, so if that’s something you don’t like, please let me know. For cats, my place is a dream. Lots of windows that blanket the place in sunlight. I live a few stories up so the trees are at eye level giving them lots of birds to stare and cackle at. I also have a patio where cats love to bask in the sun. When not basking, their time will be spent snuggling and/or playing. If they have a favorite toy, send it along!
