I love dogs! I own a beagle/pointer mix who is 11 years old and is always looking for a play pal. Your pooch will have a great time in our gated backyard. We always make sure to keep an eye on the dogs even though the yard is gated because you never know when someone will want to adventurous and try to jump over a gate. I am really laid back and let the dogs go on the couches. However, if you don't want your dog to jump on the furniture just let me know and I won't build any bad habits while you're gone. I know how stressful looking for a reliable sitter can be so we want to make it easier for those in a bind.
