I grew up with German Shepherds and labs, and have had large dogs as pets my entire life. Professionally, I have worked with police canines on obedience and helped in the training and care of multiple odor-detection dogs. I enjoy learning about dogs' personalities and spending as much time with them as possible. My wife makes fun of me because I am easily distracted by only two things: dogs and motorcycles. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I'll have plenty of time to check in on and play with your pet(s) as needed. I am a retired law enforcement officer who now teaches in higher education. Caring for animals is my version of zen. I am also familiar with sitting for cats, as I owned one for several years.
