Usually responds in under an hour

Dog skills

13 years of experience
Oral medication administration
Senior dog experience
Can provide daily exercise

Safety, trust & environment

I use positive reinforcement techniques when training. When taking care of your dog, I'll make sure to get them the exercise they need (which will hopefully prevent destructive behaviors stemming from boredom). I also try to have dogs practice "manners" such as: sitting before being fed, or taking treats gently from my hand (as opposed to snatching it and potentially nibbling a little too hard).

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 cat
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Information Tiffany Z. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pets have any behaviors to watch out for, such as leash pulling, counter surfing, high prey drive, lots of zoomies, etc.

A typical day

There’s a trail near my house that I like to take dogs for walks at. I also like to do engaging activities such as rolling treats in a towel, nosework games, just general mental stimulation.

Pet care experience

I started taking care of dogs when I was 12, and my family got our first dog - a German Shepherd puppy. Toward the end of her life, she had to take medication daily, so I know how hard it is to get your dog to take their pills... she'd hide them in the side of her mouth and spit them out later when we weren't looking! Eventually we were able to get her to take them. She was a big dog (grew to 95 pounds) and I feel confident working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My family now has a 2.5 year old shepherd named Cocoa. She's a handful, but we're able to curb her craziness with walks and long periods of playing fetch :) Other animal experience: chicken-keeping, feeding and cuddling stray cats I'm familiar with the unhappy feeling of leaving your pets at home for extended periods of time. You can count on me to give them the love and attention they deserve!

Your four legged kids will be in good hands with Tiffany as she has experience caring for both cats and dogs. She will care for your pets like she cares for her own.
