I love to understand animals!
I have taken care a large variety of animals, from dogs, cats, bearded dragons, corn snakes, parakeets and even axolotls. I love learning about animals both as groups and individuals. I trained both my dog and my cat for recall, crate training, reducing reactivity and being able to wait before grabbing food.

I would find the most comfortable and familiar routine for your pets to ensure they are not afraid or uncomfortable while you are gone. Dogs can only understand so much change at once so I work to make those changes easier. I train using positive reinforcement, treats, toys, and pets. I feel that every dog has their personality and their needs vary.

Schedule
I am a substitute teacher so I mainly work during school hours but I am flexible and available to for all day care if needed, especially during the holidays and summer. I would need to step out occasionally to care for my own pets but I would not be gone for longer than a few hours to feed and walk my dog.

- I would need to know about any medical issues including allergies, diabetes, seizures and especially any contagious illnesses. I would also like to know when they were last vaccinated for Rabies, parvo and bordetella. It would also help to know your dogs reactivity level or if they have separation anxiety. If they have a strong prey drive or if they have anything they are drawn to. If they have any bite history and how that behavior is being addressed. Finally, whats their favorite games? Treats? And how are they motivated?
