I have been taking care of dogs since the day I was born in 1980. I have grown up around all sorts of pets, from dogs, to guinea pigs, to hamsters, to gerbils and birds! Oh - turtles and fish too! While living in England I ran a dog walking & dog boarding business that ran 24/7 from 2022-2024 when we moved back here to Houston. I really miss taking care of other people's pets so I can't wait to be entrusted with your furry family members!

Tiffany is the best! She’s so kind and I knew from the moment we first met at our meet and greet she and her sweet family would be the right fit for Teddy especially since Teddy and their dog, Branston hit it off so well. I’m so grateful for the daily updates with pictures and videos. It helped us relax knowing he was having such a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tiffany as a pet sitter, she’s truly a gem and I’m so grateful to have found her on Rover. We’re looking forward to Teddy’s next stay!

Schedule
I work away from my home only 16 hours a week, my job is very flexible. I’m never gone for more than 3-4 hours. Other than that and shuttling my kids around, I’m mostly home! I really enjoy walking my dog on Terry Hershey trail or taking him to the dog park, so I can do the same for your dog too if they enjoy that! We do usually go to the UK to visit family for about 2 weeks every summer, and we do the occasional family trip, but I would be able to give you enough heads up that it wouldn't effect your scheduling with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fully fenced, totally shaded back yard, it is very safe for dogs large & small. The interior of my home is fully safe for dogs as well and your animal will really feel as though they are in a home away from home! My children have always helped me take care of dogs and love them almost as much as I do! So your dog will need to also be good with kids (mine are 11 & 14), and my 5 year old golden retriever is awesome with other dogs, so I hope yours will be kind to him too!

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs to the off-leash Phil Archer dog park on Hwy 6, however if they are not ok being off leash, then I can stick to either neighborhood walks or walks on Terry Hershey Trail which is very close to my house. I also enjoy providing them with mental stimulation such as dog treat puzzles, sniffing games, and as many rounds of fetch as your dog's heart desires! If you have a dog that doesn't want much exercise or a senior dog, I can also provide a very quiet house for them to rest and relax.
