Pet care fits great into my schedule—I’m a retired LAPD officer now working part-time from home, so I’ve got the flexibility to give your pets the attention they need, when they need it. My days aren’t rushed, and I actually like planning around walks, feedings, and cuddle breaks. It’s a pretty sweet upgrade from chasing bad guys.

Inside, there’s plenty of comfortable space for lounging, cuddling, or doing their own thing. My dog Diego (a rescue chihuahua) serves as the welcoming committee and takes his role very seriously. I keep the environment calm, clean, and consistent so your pet feels comfortable and secure from day one.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. This can include neighborhood walks, beach walks when conditions allow, gentle playtime, enrichment games, and plenty of cuddle and relaxation time. I also enjoy keeping pets engaged with routine, positive attention, and calm companionship so they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while in my care.

I have a deep experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments—from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups needing a gentler pace. I’m especially patient, detail-oriented, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I have a rescue chihuahua named Diego, and over the years I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and family, handling medications, special diets, and quirky personalities with ease. I also never underestimate the power of a good belly rub or a well-timed treat.
