Pet care is what I do full-time, so early mornings, midday drop-ins, overnights, and last minute requests are all realistic. I usually answer messages within the hour, and I confirm exact timing before every booking so you are not guessing. If your pet is on medication with a strict window, send me the schedule and I will build the day around it.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fully fenced and I check the gate every single time before a dog goes out. My Shiba taught me that lesson early, and I have never stopped double checking. I board only one or two small dogs at a time, so nobody has to compete for space or attention, and your dog gets to be the priority instead of one of a crowd. Leashes stay on until we are inside, I do not take client dogs to dog parks, and we always do a meet and greet first so the real day is familiar rather than new.

Information Tiffa M. would like to know about your pet
Bolts through open doors, counter surfs, digs, hates the mail carrier, will only eat if someone stands there watching (sometimes my Shiba wants me to do this as well). The details that help most: feeding amounts and timing, medication dosage and schedule, vet contact information, and anything that changed recently like a new food or a move. Even if your cat has a favorite hiding spot.
A typical day
For dogs, mornings start with a walk before it gets hot, then breakfast and any medication on schedule. Midday is quiet: yard time, a chew, a nap in whatever sunny spot they have claimed. Afternoons bring a second walk or some play depending on their energy. Evenings wind down early with dinner, a last trip outside, then settling in near me. For cats, the visit runs on their schedule instead of mine. Food, fresh water, a clean box, and a look to make sure everyone is eating and acting like themselves. Then I sit down on the floor and let them decide about me. Some come out right away, some take a few visits, and both are completely fine. You get photos either way, including the ones where they are clearly judging me.

Pet care experience
My Shiba and Malamute have been teaching me that some dogs don’t obey-they decide. Working with them, and helping friends train theirs, is how I learned to read a dog instead of just managing one. If your dog is a bolter, a digger, a counter surfer, or just doesn’t warm up to strangers, we’ll get along fine. A day here looks like: morning walk, yard time (fully fenced), a nap in a quiet house, structured play, evening wind-down. I keep boarding to one or two small dogs, so nobody’s competing for attention. I’m comfortable with senior dogs and medication schedules, and with puppies still figuring out the house rules. If your dog is mid-training on something, I’ll keep the routine in place for you. Send me your dog’s quirks. The weirder the better.

Reviews
Tiffa was fantastic with my old needy dog Monkey. She sat him at my house for 3 full weeks. I was very concerned because Monkey hates being left alone, as he has dementia and is deaf and scared. When I came back my dog felt as if we had never left! Clearly he was well taken care of. Tiffa did not complain about the accidents that she had to clean up. Great sitter!
