Being around animals brings me a lot of joy. I love discovering their individual personalities because, just like people, every pet is different. When I meet an animal, I pay attention to their energy and let them show me what they need. Some want to play immediately, some are cautious, and some would rather observe from across the room for a while. I’m happy to meet them wherever they are rather than forcing interaction. My Shiba and Malamute have taught me plenty about that. My Malamute is a big-time attention seeker, while my Shiba prefers his personal space (although he occasionally gives in to a cuddle and then mysteriously ends up snoring next to me). 😂 I keep boarding intentionally small so your pet gets the attention they deserve in a calm home environment. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, energetic dogs, shy pets, and animals who need medication or extra patience. Most importantly, I’ll follow the care and routines you want for your pet. You know them best, and I want their stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

Tiffa was fantastic with my old needy dog Monkey. She sat him at my house for 3 full weeks. I was very concerned because Monkey hates being left alone, as he has dementia and is deaf and scared. When I came back my dog felt as if we had never left! Clearly he was well taken care of. Tiffa did not complain about the accidents that she had to clean up. Great sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have flexibility for early mornings, midday visits, overnights, and last-minute requests when available. I’m responsive and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine, including specific feeding, exercise, or medication schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is calm, non-smoking, and fully fenced. I have two dogs of my own, and I’m experienced with introducing and managing animals thoughtfully so everyone can feel comfortable. I keep boarding intentionally small and pay close attention to each pet’s temperament and needs. Client dogs stay leashed until we’re safely inside, and I don’t take them to dog parks. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would want for my own. I’ll follow your routines, care for your space, and make sure your pets get the same attention and consistency they’re used to.

A typical day
There isn’t one perfect routine for every pet. I adjust the day to their personality, energy, and the routine you’ve given me. Depending on your pet, that might mean walks, playtime, cuddles, yard time, a sunny nap, or simply hanging out nearby while they do their own thing. I love sending photos because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. ❤️
