Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the animals and the home with the utmost respect. I follow all care instructions carefully and stick to the pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. JUST A HEADS UP! I do require all boarding dogs to come with a crate, for comfort and safety! I understand how important it is to create a safe, stress-free, and trustworthy environment. I’m calm, reliable, and always make sure pets feel seen, heard, and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walking, litter box cleaning, administering medications, or just providing company, I handle every task with patience and care. I’m also certified in pet CPR and first aid, which gives added peace of mind in case of an emergency. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pets are safe and happy while you’re gone.

Information Tiela B. would like to know about your pet

Before any visit, I like to know as much as possible to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for. Helpful things include: • Feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions • Medical needs or medications • Energy level and favorite activities • Any behavioral issues (e.g. anxiety, reactivity, guarding) • What commands they know or respond to • If they’re crate trained or free roaming • How they are with other animals or strangers • Emergency contact info and vet details Every pet is different, and the more I know, the better I can tailor my care to meet their needs and keep them happy while you’re away.

A typical day

I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, age, and energy level. For dogs, I love engaging them with walks, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, or even basic obedience refreshers if they enjoy structure. For high-energy dogs, I focus on mental stimulation and calm leadership to help them feel balanced. For cats, I offer play with toys like wands, balls, or laser pointers, and I always respect their mood — whether they’re feeling playful, curious, or just want some quiet company. If the pet enjoys affection, I’m always happy to offer gentle cuddles, brushing, or chill time by their favorite window. My goal is to keep them happy, active, and stress-free while you’re away.

20+ Yrs Experience, Loving Pet Care

Pet care experience

I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up on a working ranch, which gave me the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, and horses.etc. That background taught me how to confidently handle animals with a variety of needs, personalities, and energy levels. I have had all breeds of dogs growing up, but currently, at home, I have two large dogs — a Doberman, a Cane Corso, and a boxer/pocket bully mix — so I’m no stranger to strong breeds, high energy, or big personalities. I understand how to manage powerful dogs calmly and safely. I also have three cats. What sets me apart is my wide-ranging animal experience, my confidence with large and exotic pets, and my professional training. I’m certified in pet CPR and first aid, and I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care while following your instructions closely. Whether you’re looking for someone to care for your dogs, exotic pets, or farm animals, I’m here to offer safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable care.

Tiela is very dependable, personable, and caring. Tiela was raised around animals: chickens, horses, cats, dogs, etc. She has a genuine love and knowledge of animals. I personally, wouldn't trust anyone else more with my animals than Tiela. I know her priority is their safety and wellbeing .
