I have worked professionally with dogs for the past four years. I currently work at the SF SPCA. I have cared for about 60 to 120 dogs and cats at one time with a team. I have experience medicating dogs and cats to include giving subcutaneous fluids and intramuscular injections. I can recognize early symptoms of illness. I have an advanced understanding of dog and cat behavior. I have worked with extremely shut down animals and on the other hand I have worked with dogs that people have labeled "aggressive" or energetic. I enjoy working with dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, abilities and disabilities. While staying with your pet I can provide mental enrichment and stimulation in different forms which is important for all pets, no matter their age or size. I can also provide behavior modification advice and behavior resources. I am working on becoming CPR certified. I have my own transportation and can transport your pet to a hospital in case of emergency.
