As an avid animal lover unable to have pets of my own currently, I've happily cared for dogs, cats, and rabbits since childhood. From German Shepherds to Rottweilers, Boxers to Labradors, and even Cockapoos and mixed breeds, I've cherished each unique personality. You may have seen me in the park, respectfully greeting dogs while understanding their boundaries. With a background in the NHS, I've spearheaded projects involving therapy dogs, recognising their immense benefits for staff and patient wellbeing. As a psychologist, my understanding of behaviour allows me to tailor training and engagement techniques precisely to each animal's needs, ensuring effective and compassionate communication. With my experience and dedication, I'd be a fantastic choice as your dog sitter and walker. While this profile is for me, my partner Alex may help me out sometimes too.

Tia is Brilliant! she was trustworthy, friendly, and easy to communicate with. She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was clear our cats was comfortable and well cared for while we were away. Would happily recommend her to others!!
Tia was fabulous with our shy girl Bonnie. She sent us lots of updates and pictures during the day which showed us how comfortable and happy Bonnie was in Tia’s home. Tia was wonderful with our dog Winnie, she kept us fully updated with lots of photos and videos during the day which we found very reassuring as Winnie can be anxious at first, but she clearly settled in wonderfully and was a very happy pup on pick up :)

I'm currently in-between jobs and free most days so happy to do ad-hoc help or have a longer stay / care for your fury friend!

Safety, trust & environment
I would look after your pet 1:1, well sometimes 2:1 because my partner would love to say hello - depending on your preference. I'm happy to look after your pet in your home, take them for a walk or in my home. I have a car and am happy to travel
A typical day
I think dogs need enrichment as well as exercise. I understand that sniffing for them is the same as us checking in with our friends so sniffing time is important. I love to play and train dogs (and cats!) new tricks. I live near a local park which is great for sniffs and games and some squirrel watching
