I've been a professional pet sitter for three years in Kansas and Massachusetts. Pet care comes naturally to me as a highly empathetic person. My devotion to animals has been life long and I’m here to help when you need it!

At your pet’s home I will read the directions you have given me on their care and I will update you frequently or as often as wanted. I will make sure my home is safe is I bring in your pet, and I am very attentive to animal’s needs that I will take good care of them for yoi. I am grateful for the trust you are giving me and I will take extra special care of your pet during a somewhat vulnerable separation period. I know that some dogs or cats struggle more, or less, with pet sitting or walking and that’s okay—i respectfully challenge your dog to keep trying but when she/he is too overwhelmed I know how to get rid of anxiety by using sound, movement, and mindful grounding. Your dog will feel at ease with me! I’ll consistently check for communication from him/her and be proactive about their needs. That’s the integrity I value as a professional pet sitter/dog walker.

We left our dog (newly adopted a year ago) home for the first time with Tia. She did a great job keeping him and our cat happy, fed, and exercised!! She sent us regular updates and pics and left the house in perfect shape!

Tia is a fabulous house sitter and dog watcher! She gave us peace of mind that our pup was very well cared for while we were away. Most importantly, I was new to house/dog sitting, so I didn't know what to expect or what to ask, but Tia came to meet us, and right away, I knew it was a good fit. She cared for our dog and gave us daily photos and reports on how they were doing while also caring for my plants, the mail, and deliveries. Trusting someone with all that was a giant leap of faith for me, and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be using Tia's services again, and I am thrilled to have a trusted contact to care for my trusty companion when I can't.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and pet care is a core part of my weekly routine. Let me know what you’re looking for and we can plan a schedule together.

- I am willing to care for pets of all kinds. If they have special needs or behavioral concerns I am happy to hear what I can do to help. If I am unable to safely care for an animal I will demy the booking. But I’ve worked with animals my entire life and I read their body language very naturally, like the Dog Whisperer! haha. There haven’t been any times in which I couldn’t care for an animal successfully according to their needs! I am naturally attuned to details and will notice if your animal is anxious, sad, happy, or otherwise, and figure out how to bring their stress levels down by remaining very calm myself.
