A cat pro in a dog world
Hi all! I’m Tia, I live in Crown Heights. I have no pets of my own but I have been a volunteer at the Brooklyn Cat Cafe for over a year. If you haven’t been before, it’s an incredible non-profit rescuing cats off the streets of Brooklyn. I am also a Foster Mom for the BCC as well. I fostered 5 cats (individually) in 2023 and all of them were adopted. Growing up in Northern Michigan, we also had 2 cats and a dog. Our current kitties are Frick and Frack. I can do whatever cat care you need; meds, nail trimming, socializing. If I pet sit for you, I promise pics every day 📸

Tia is the best! She takes such good care of my girl while I’m out town and traveling. My kitty is so well looked after and happy! She also sends plenty of updates and photos and I just can’t recommend her enough!
Tia was the best! My kitty stayed with her for 16 days while I was traveling and she took such good care of her. We got daily updates with photos and videos and I can absolutely say that she was loved and cared for.
Tia is knowledgeable on cat needs and a kind pet sitter. My cat was able to get along with her and was very comfortable staying at Tia’s. Tia even gifted my cat a toy she fell in love with during her stay. We also didn’t need to prepare much for our cat’s stay, as Tia already had everything your cat would need. I would rebook and highly recommend her for those in need of a good pet sitter!

Schedule
i was recently laid-off so I’m not going into an office. I go to the gym every day, and will be home taking classes / job hunting / etc.

With kitties, the environment can be whatever you are comfortable with. I have many tricks to help them acclimate to me and my space (laying on the floor is extremely effective).
A typical day
Kitties need different levels of stimulation. As a foster for other cats, I have lots of toys! I often put bird watching up on my tv for laid-back stimulation.
