I would prefer to care for your dog in your own home, where the dog is familiar. I would make sure the dog would have appropriate bathroom breaks, and play time, and stick to the owner's feeding routines.

How does your dog react around other dogs? Are they trained to obey commands such as sit, stay, come, leave it, etc? How do they get along with cats? Do they have a strong "chase" instinct? (Cars, squirrels, etc.) How snuggly are they? If they are large dogs, will they want to sleep in bed with me? Is that allowed, for any of your pets?

I enjoy playing with the dog, with their favorite toys, playing fetch or tug of war, etc. I am comfortable if the dog wants to snuggle with me while reading or watching TV. There are two parks near where I live that are great for walking dogs. I can also walk your dog in your own neighborhood, of course. I will always keep your dog on a leash. I don't mind sharing "my" bed with your furbabies.

I had my precious furbaby until he crossed the rainbow bridge at 17. I adopted him when he was eight years old, and he had my heart, as I'm sure yours do for you as well. I am familiar with bathing, feeding, cleaning up after messes, and taking for walks. I am also aware that every dog is different so I will get to know what the owners want to tell me about their dog. I will treat the dog with kindness, as if it were my own. I have been a pet sitter through Rover for four years now. I love animals and I think they pick up on that quickly. I am also able to care for cats, hamsters, and Guinea pigs, etc. No birds please.

We used Tia for the first time and so lucky we found her! She was very contentious about getting to know our dogs’ routines and the things she likes the most….like 2 walks a day. While away we received several pic and updates about how her day was going. Very reassuring to know she was with Tia. Definitely will use her service again!
