My fiancé and I have been dog parents for 2 years. During this time, I became adept at walking a dog with high prey drive (yes, squirrels are our worst enemy), preventing my dog from from eating random food off the floor, and most importantly, making walks fun. I allow plenty of time for sniffing. Occasionally, I do obedience training during walks, and flirting pole playtime and disc fetch every few days. My dog has to take meds daily so taking care of dogs that require medication isn’t a problem. I also have experience walking dog and/or human reactive dogs as I spend a decent amount of time with my friend’s Border Collie. Additionally, I have taken care of senior dogs so I understand the patience, care and gentleness that requires.
