Home Away From Home Boarding
I grew up with dogs (big and small) and have owned my own for over 26 years. I have also boarded family and friend dogs for many years. My daughter (13) and I would like to open up our home for dogs whose owners need to get away. We want your pup to feel special, so we are looking to board only 1 or 2 at a time. We have a 7 year old female German Shorthair Pointer that we walk every day. We also have a big fenced in yard that includes grass, gravel and swimming pool. I am a stay at home mom so your dog would get lots of attention and play time. Please note, we will not board pit bulls, rottweilers or any aggressive dogs due to previous experiences. *Drop offs/Pick ups no later than 8pm please!

We just want to thank you to Tommie and family for the loving care provided to our lil buddy Shohei. We traveled out of the country and were a little apprehensive about boarding options. After visiting 7+ traditional boarding providers, we lucked upon the Rover.com site. Furthermore, after conducting several meet and greets with Rover we chose Tommie and her family to watch over Shohei. What a great decision that turned out to be. We received regular updates to include photos and videos, which helped alleviate our anxiety. Tommie's home provides a spacious back yard and walks are part of the daily routine. We could not be happier with our decision to use Rover and specifically Tommie.
Tommie was great! Very communicative and Cal loved his time with her family.
Our corgi really enjoyed her stay. She got lots of attention and play time. We got daily updates and photos. Highly recommend!

Schedule
We currently have an energetic German shorthair pointer that we walk every day for three miles. She also needs additional exercise which includes playing time in our yard daily.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a big fenced in yard with space to run around. Inside our home, we allow free roaming and have space to make your dog feel comfortable. We can crate if needed. I do not allow dogs on my bed, but some furniture. You may bring a favorite pillow or toy to make your pet feel more at home.
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog physically and mentally. I walk daily in my neighborhood and around the park nearby. I also play games in my large backyard such as fetch, tug-of-war or chase. During quieter hours, I lay on the ground to snuggle and give belly rubs.
