Pet care experience
Every animal deserves the best!
I have been fascinated by animals all my life and deeply care for all of them. My family always had at least 1 dog at home and we would often have other animals such as fish, a chameleon, or a stick bug. I frequently helped care for other pets around the neighborhood when asked to do so and still enjoy stopping to say hi to many of them on walks. Most of my experience, however, comes from my work history. I have worked almost exclusively at various kennels since I was old enough to work at around 16. While the vast majority of the animals I cared for were dogs, I also got some experience with cats, birds, and even rabbits once or twice. Because of my prior work experience, I am very good at handling dogs of all kinds and don't get grossed out by messes.

Safety, trust & environment
For walks I will initially say hi and give your pup some pets as I gear them up for their stroll. As far as the walk itself goes, I will always let the dog go at their own pace and will generally try and be out for around an hour in your neighborhood unless I am requested not to. For walk-ins and house sitting I will begin by giving your doggo some cuddles before quickly letting them outside to go potty. Afterwards I will scan the house or crate for messes and clean any that may have surfaced. Following cleanup I will take them out to either play or go for a walk depending on owner preference and then feed them according to owner specifications (Feeding and exercise can be interchanged depending on timing and instruction). In this time I can also send updates to you about how everyone's doing! From there I will likely either sit with the pet for a little and leave if I am just checking in or try and do some school work or something if I am house sitting. I will make sure to follow all instructions and reach out for help if I have any questions. Thank you for trusting me with your pet(s)!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog and house sitter! Our two doodles were so well cared for, loved, and happy while we were away. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands and getting plenty of attention and care. Our house was also well taken care of, and we came home to everything just as we left it. Communication was great, and we felt completely comfortable and confident having Thomas stay in our home. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable. We will definitely be using them again!
We have known Thomas for over 6 years. He is a dog whisperer. He was excellent with our 95 lb German Shepherd, and now our excitable Black Lab. Also wonderful with our two cats. Our dogs absolutely love Thomas. We watch him daily walk his two dogs, he is reliable and so responsible. Thomas has a quiet way with dogs and also our cats. I have seen him around reactive dogs, and he calmly deals with the situation. He is the perfect pet sitter, and one can feel totally comfortable leaving their home and pets in his care.

Schedule
I am a college student at Western Washington University. So, starting on the 23rd I will be available after 11am M&F, after 1:30 T&Th, and after 5 on W. The Weekends I should be completely free unless I have plans. Within these available times I can show up as needed to care for your pet.
