We have had dogs as part of our family for over 25 years and have enjoyed the quirky and playful companionship that they have provided while raising them along with our two sons. The boys are off to college and we recently lost our beloved German Shorthaired Pointer to cancer. We are not ready for a new dog of our own but welcome the opportunity to share our love with your dog. I work from home with a very flexible schedule and like to stay active with walks around the neighborhood or at the park. Tom and Shelly took exceptional care of our dog, Winston, this past weekend! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. They sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Winston received plenty of love, attention, and affection throughout his stay. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We are so grateful for the kindness and dedication Tom and Shelly showed our pup, and we would not hesitate to trust them with Winston again. Highly recommend! I think Winston may have enjoyed his vacation as much as we enjoyed ours!
Thomas and Shelly took such amazing care of Maddie while we were out of town! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was loved on, played with, and so well cared for the entire time. They went above and beyond making sure she got plenty of attention and fun, and it was obvious how much they genuinely cared about her. We came home to a happy girl, and that means everything. We are so grateful for them and would absolutely trust them again in the future. Highly recommend!
Thomas and Shelly were fantastic dog sitters! Great communication and updates throughout the stay. They gave Coco the same love and attention we do at home.
Tom and Shelly are fantastic! Our Duncan was happy and healthy when we went to pick him up. Tom kept in touch with daily updates while we were gone and we never worried because we knew he was in the best care ever! We will definitely use Tom and Shelly again and we highly recommend them!!
Our dog Franny had a wonderful stay with Tom while we were out of town! He sent us pictures of her adventures everyday, which was so comforting to see her having fun while we were away. She enjoyed spending time outside in their large backyard and really loved going on those long daily walks. Franny is already looking forward to the next time she can go back to stay there! 🐾
Tom was amazing with our Beagle, Duncan! He took him on walks, they went to the park! (They put in some miles). Lots to see with all the deer and squirrels around! I received photo's and daily updates and I could see Duncan was enjoying his visit. Duncan was still on a soft diet due to some dental extractions. Tom was understanding and accommodating with his meals. I would definitely book again!!

I have had the opportunity to work from home since 2017 and balance my time between work, some form of exercise and numerous projects around the house.

Our backyard has plenty of room to run and play - it is approximately 1/4 acre with a 6' tall fence and two covered patios.
A typical day
Typical activities include playing in the backyard, going for walks to see the deer in the neighborhood or hiking the many trails at Eisenhower Park.
