Warm, caring Dog friendly home
I've been a dog household for 30 years. I want to provide your dog a relaxed atmosphere, but give them the room to run around out in our fenced yard, or to take a nice cozy nap in the middle of the day. Having watched others loved ones for years, I know that each pet has unique needs. Your pup will feel right at home. I can provideg daily walks (weather permitting), and have a dog friendly (fully fenced) sized yard for them to play and run around in. I also have a mid/large crate available which I can bring out should your loved one need that kind of secure place to hang out in. It's important for me to know how your dog behaves around other dogs (on or off leash). Dogs get stressed in new environments, and when going on walks it's important for me to be prepared for their reactions.

Thomas was wonderful. He took our dog for walks and played in the backyard with him. When our dog got home he was fine like he never left and we could tell he was very well taken care of
Thomas and his family welcomed our dog Yogi with open arms. They were able to accommodate us on short notice which we really appreciated. Yogi was very well cared for and we would highly recommend him.
Thomas was very welcoming to my Toby and very patient with his antics and my semi-helicopter dog parenting. A great first experience with Rover for my shepherd and for me. Would book again when I am in need in the area.
We just had our first booking with Thomas and couldn’t be more grateful for his excellent care of our dog Harley.He sent messages and photos daily reassuring us that she was doing well. She had plenty of playtime, walks and attention which she loves. Thomas will definitely be our go to for Harley!
Watched my dog Toby. Toby is very picky about people so I was a little concerned at first, but when I came back 2 days later, Toby didn't want to leave. 10/10 gave me regular updates with pictures, and walked Toby 3 times every day, even went to the dog park.

Schedule
I work from home so I'm home most of the day with them (barring an appointment, errands, etc.). If the weather's nice, we'll get out for time in the yard, or get a nice mile long walk in our cozy neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard (Chain link), plenty of grass for them to roll around in, lots to sniff. I'm conscious of things like only having sharable toys out for the dogs to play with, and only giving your pet the type of treats you're ok with. I definitely don't want to give your dog digestive or other stress- they'll be stressed enough being away from home.
A typical day
My dog enjoyed his evening after dinner walk daily. He also has a regular routine of wandering the yard. When able, yours would get walks thru our neighborhood. since I'm home, I can get your pup out in the yard throughout the day, especially on the weekend. I'm conscious of heat in the 🌞 summer too.

- Your dog must be non-aggressive, well behaved and house trained (deal breaker). If they have some aggressive tendencies, please let me know that ahead of time so I can exercise caution when out on walks. I have several dog beds, but don't allow ours on the furniture. If yours jump on the furniture, I'll politely bring them back down to the ground. If they need a special toy, blanket, etc. you're welcome to bring it along. I like to do a meet and greet ahead of time to ensure everyone is a fit for one another. If you have your own food bowls, that's great. I have water bowls for inside and out. Please let me know if your dog is a digger. Just helps me to block off plants in my yard. Nothing dangerous but I know some dogs get bored and I get chipmunks, bunnies and squirrels hiding out, so it's helpful to know what I need to be mindful of.
