I work weekdays from around 8:00am to around 4:00 or 5:00 pm, but I'm entirely open on weekends, and I have some flexibility to work remote if it is absolutely needed for housesitting. Happy to travel any distance for an adventure with your pet or to housesit.

Every animal is different, so before any visit I'd love to know the basics: feeding schedule and diet, any medications or health conditions, behavioral quirks, and how they typically respond to new people. For dogs, it helps to know their energy level, leash manners, and any commands they know. For cats, I like to know whether they're social or more independent, and if there are any off-limit areas. The more I know upfront, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe and cared for!
A typical day
A typical day starts with fresh food and water, a good play session, and plenty of attention, whether that means chasing a toy outside, some lap time, or just quiet companionship for a more reserved pet. I'll keep their routine as close to normal as possible, since most animals are creatures of habit. I'm happy to accommodate any specific preferences, from brushing and grooming to walks anywhere. Before I leave, I'll make sure everything is tidy and send you an update so you know your cat is happy and comfortable.

Pet care experience
Growing up in Portland, OR, I've loved animals my whole life (a trait I get from my mom). While my family has always been a cat household, I've built extensive experience with dogs too. I've house-sat and cared for a wide range of dogs: energetic and anxious Great Danes, senior Golden Retrievers needing extra companionship, and everything in between. Most recently, I volunteered as a dog walker at Oregon Dog Rescue before moving to Provo for an internship this summer. I'm comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. If your pet needs to go on a trail run or just a stroll around the block, I'm happy to do it all. Although I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to house sitting. Feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to connect you with any of the dog or cat parents who hired me for reference.
