Availability
I work fully remote in cybersecurity, which means my schedule is wide open throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays. Because my work only requires a laptop, your pets won’t be left alone or wondering when their next potty break or play session is coming. I can adapt easily to your pet’s routine - whether they need a midday walk, companionship throughout the workday, or a little extra patience and care. This flexibility also means I’m available for last-minute bookings and can accommodate pets with special needs or structured routines. Your pet gets consistent care, attention, and love without the stress of a rigid schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
With three large dogs and two cats of my own, each with their own unique quirks and personalities, I understand the importance of routine, structure, and situational awareness when it comes to animal care. I use clear boundaries, mental stimulation, and daily structure to help keep my pets healthy, engaged, and thriving, and I bring that same energy into every pet I care for. Because my home is already full of furry personalities, I provide services exclusively away from my home, with few exceptions. This allows me to give your pets my full attention in their familiar environment, where they’re most comfortable. I’m highly tuned in to body language and energy levels during playtime, especially with reactive or high energy animals, and I take a calm, confident approach to walks and hikes even in busy areas. I’m also experienced managing medical routines and special care needs, from daily meds to meal plans and behavioral support. You can trust that your pets are safe, supported, and genuinely cared for with me.
Information Thomas M. would like to know about your pet
To give your pet the best care possible, please let me know: - Your pet’s daily routine (feeding, walks, bedtime, etc.) - Any medical needs or medications - Behavioral quirks (anxious, reactive, escape artist, etc.) - How they are with other dogs/people/animals - Favorite toys, games, or comfort items - Any training cues or commands they know - Emergency contact info (vet, backup caretaker, etc.) The more you can share, the better I can tailor their care!
A typical day
When I care for someone’s dog, my goal is to make the day feel as familiar and stress-free as possible for them. I start by checking in on their usual routine: feeding times, potty breaks, preferred walking routes, and any quirks or medical needs. I love structure, and so do most pets, so I try to follow their rhythm closely. If it’s a morning visit, I’ll greet them calmly, making sure they’re feeling comfortable before we head out for a walk. I pay attention to their energy level and the environment, avoiding overly stimulating areas if they’re anxious or reactive, and giving them space to explore safely if they’re more adventurous. Throughout the day, I make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation: walks, playtime, puzzle toys, or just calm companionship depending on what suits them best. Since I work from home, I can drop by multiple times or stay for longer stretches, ensuring they’re not alone for long. If meds or special care are needed, I stick to the owner’s instructions exactly, double-check everything, and send regular updates so pet parents feel confident and connected. Evening routines wrap things up with another walk, a final check-in, and some affection before settling them in. Your dog is treated like one of my own with attention, patience, and love!

Your Pet’s New Best Friend!
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Phillip! A Calm, Caring, and Detail-Oriented Pet Sitter You Can Trust. As a cybersecurity analyst by day and a devoted pet parent always, I bring a uniquely reliable, attentive presence to your pet’s care. I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your furry family, and that’s exactly what I provide—through clear communication, safety-first practices, and genuine compassion. I’ve cared for animals with special needs, including senior dogs, anxious dogs, dogs with medical needs, and overweight cats. I always tailor my approach to an animal’s comfort and personality. Whether it’s playtime, structured walks, medication routines, or simply quiet companionship, I show up with presence and purpose. Working from home gives me flexibility to provide consistent care, and my calm demeanor helps even the most skittish pets feel at ease. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like their own - with responsibility, patience, and love - you’ve found your guy. Let’s meet! I’d love to hear about your pet’s routine and how I can help.

Reviews

Thomas did a fantastic job taking care of my dog! He was communicative, reliable, and sent great updates that gave me total peace of mind. I came home to my dog happy and well cared for. I will absolutely book with Thomas again and highly recommend him! 😊
My dog loves Phillip! All dogs love Phillip! You and your pets will love him too. He most recently helped us by making sure our pup made it home safely from our wedding ceremony. Phillip drove him home and spent some time with him to help him unwind after a day of crazy and hectic festivities. Phillip is thoughtful, diligent, kind, reliable, and knowledgeable, and we were so glad for his help on our big day!
11/10! Having Phillip watch my dogs gives me the ultimate peace of mind. He can handle big dogs (x2 100lb-ers!) as well as my mischievous, slightly reactive puppy. He is kind, responsible, empathetic, and very knowledgeable about animals.
I can give Phillip an unqualified recommendation to be anyone's pet sitter and dog walker. He has a natural connection with animals and a genuine love for what everything he does. Besides being an owner of a few rescue animals, he is very caring to them and all the 'friends' they meet at the park, neighborhood streets, or hiking trails. Phillip is incredibly reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets are not only cared for but truly happy. Whether it's a long walk, playtime, or just cuddles with them, I know my pet is in the best hands. I always come home to a relaxed, well-exercised, and happy animal. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and professional, Phillip is exactly who you want caring for your pets. He will be much more than a pet sitter or dog walker—he may very well become a new friend to you.
