Pet care experience
I grew up in a big family so I wasn’t able to have pets until adulthood but I’ve spent the last 15 years taking care of dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes. I am known to watch the neighborhood dogs whenever something comes up because I genuinely love getting to know as many animals as possible. I have a one year old Española mixed breed and he has benefitted tremendously from all of the socialization he’s gotten.

Thomas came through when 3 others booked then cancelled. I should have picked him first. Thomas came for a meet and greet his dog Roscoe and Brayah Beautifully with him immediately. They all slept in the same bed as him, took a lot of walks and had so much fun from looking at the pictures he showed me at the dog parks!!!!! He left my place clean and neat!
Jamie cries (in excitement) whenever we drive past where Tom and Roscoe used to lived; he misses his buddies, for sure. That was his pack-away-from-home. Hope Asheville loves them as much as pups in Santa Fe did!

I have a fenced in patio and a large dog run 200 feet away from my apartment as well as a bike path nearby. I have a large adjustable crate for those that need it. My dog Roscoe loves to play and is pretty great at respecting boundaries. All in all I am happy to say that I provide a wonderful home for pups.

Just let me know whatever it is that would help me take the best care of your dog while you are away. I’m happy to accommodate according to the dogs behavior and style of play whether it be playing fetch, going for walks or even hanging out in the yard.
A typical day
I love hanging out and playing fetch with the pups or taking them on hikes/walks. My dog Roscoe is an excellent wingman in this line of work and often plays with other dogs for hours at a time.

I recently started a job managing lunch and brunch shifts at a restaurant in downtown Asheville Thursdays-Mondays but am available for drop ins or house sitting gigs if you’re ok with me being away from the home for 6-7 hours during the day.
