Availability
I'm available most days during daylight hours for walks. Drop-ins can happen earlier or later in the day, but I prefer not to walk at night.

Safety, trust & environment
Your animal's safety is goal #1. Having a leash and harness in good condition is critical. If yours doesn't satisfy that need, I carry several in different sizes to insure the best results.
Information Thomas M. would like to know about your pet
It's helpful for me to know how your pet walks and what to watch out for. Squirrel chaser, barker, skittishness, puller etc... These are all traits I can typically work with a dog on and get them over the hump to a better place.
A typical day
I often pack a toy or two if a dog requires a little extra stimulation during our walks. If you want your dog taken to a dog park, we can discuss that too.

Pet care experience
I live in North Seattle and have been walking for Rover since 2019. I enjoy taking local dogs for 30-60-minute walks as far south as Queen Anne, as far east as Lake Washington, as far north as Richmond Beach/Shoreline and anywhere along the north Puget Sound. I keep my car stocked with the following: • Assorted harnesses & leashes • Assorted raingear and cold weather gear • Towels for drying off after a rainy walk • Extra (grain-free) treats & water Some of the dogs I walk are pullers, which is why I carry assorted harnesses. The best control I’ve found for larger pullers is a front-clip harness, so I carry S, M, L and XL Wonderwalker’s. If you note that your dog is a “puller” in the profile (and thank you for noting that), I’ll communicate with you in advance and request to use one of my front-clip harnesses as an option into the walk if need be if you don’t already provide one. I'm a cat lover too and have owned and cared for them for over 30 years. I'm happy to do drop-ins for both dogs and cats. You may find a few extra cat toys when you get back home you didn’t know you had. Many of the dogs I’ve walked on Rover.com have been wonderful and I’m honored to have been provided the opportunity to walk each one. As a professional photographer, I may get a good snap or two of your pet which I will send along to you following each walk.
Reviews

Thomas has gone above and beyond with our energetic pup! He really took the time to get to know him and to develop a system that worked best for Murphy, including a special leash that helps with pulling. We would recommend Thomas for all your dog needs, especially those who are high energy!

Excellent. Wonderful companion for our older pup.

Thomas was prompt to respond and set up a time. He arrived on time, gave Pluto a nice walk. Pluto came back happy and calm. Would highly recommend Thomas.

Thomas is a wonderful and consistent sitter who cares a lot about the well-being of your pet. Will definitely book again.
