I’m a second-year dental student at Marquette University School of Dentistry, and I live literally right across the street from the building—about a 20 second walk door-to-door. Because of that, I’m able to come home frequently throughout the day to check in, take walks, play, and give your dog plenty of attention and care. There’s also a great park nearby that’s perfect for dogs who love to run and get their energy out. I’ve always loved being around dogs—they’ve been a constant source of comfort and joy in my life—and getting back into Rover is honestly just as much about having dogs in my life again as it is about helping others and paying for school. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to learn more about my experience (or dental care 😜). I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m also open to a regular commitment as well and am pretty flexible with my fees as I start building my profile back up.

I love to play and hang with doggie, but I will respect all rules regarding crating, where to potty, when to play, etc. I have pets in my family home, but none in my apartment where I live currently, so your dog will get all of my attention!

A typical day
I love to spend time stimulating and having fun with your doggies. From taking walks and trips to the park, to getting their favorite spots scratched, I will ensure your doggies tail doesn’t stop wagging!! I have friends with dogs in the building, so with permission, your dog will have plenty of play buddies in the park!! I know how nervous my family is to leave the favorite part of our lives when we leave, so I promise to ensure that your dog is well cared for and loved.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I was little, with dogs of my own. In high school, I was a "trained puppy socializer," which basically means I got paid to take care of puppies, train and socialize them to new things. Working with puppies for a couple years, I definitely have experience with hyper dogs on walks! As well, I spent some time as a dog-watcher at Tailwaggers, a dog-boarding company. I've also pet sat around the holidays for many years, deciding now I want to year round! I have three dogs back at home, I miss doggies in my life, so I would be super excited to get to hang with yours!

Thomas was amazing sitter for our 2.5 yr old Australian Shepherd. He was very prompt and courteous in all communication. We could tell from our first in person interaction that he would be attentive to our dog’s needs and that our dog would be well cared for. Will definitely book with Thomas in the future and will recommend to friends!
