Availability
We both work from home and can provide same-day afternoon or evening service (following a meet and greet). Sometimes able to accommodate last-minute or 1-day advance morning requests during the week. Weekend is easy. Advanced notice is always appreciated and improves the odds that we’ll be able, but it’s not required.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or considerations ahead of time and we will do our best to prepare. Large and strong breeds won’t be a problem, and we can handle unpredictable pulling and energy!
A typical day
We love to let dogs guide the walk and explore new or familiar areas. We will also play however the dog wants, as long as they aren’t being too rough, and will give them lots of petting and love no matter what. We have also been learning the best ways to help shy dogs become more quickly comfortable with us/new people.

Pet care experience
I’ve had 2 dogs from puppy through adulthood over the last 20 years and have given thousands of walks. Charlie was a stubborn and happy Basset Hound, and Teddy was a big, lovable, and strong Great Pyrenees who unfortunately passed early last year. RIP 🧸. My wife Kiwa also has a lot of experience with walking dogs with various sizes, age, tendencies; including the strongest, heaviest and most unpredictably energetic. Having either of us available definitely adds to our last-minute availability. We are also able and willing to walk multiple of your dogs together with ease. We recently moved to Berkeley, and would truly enjoy putting our dog walking skills & passion to use with your pup.

When I came home, my pet was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I’d highly recommend Tommy to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter—you can tell he loves what he does!
Thomas is the best dog walker and house sitter I’ve ever had. He always arrives early, is very generous with staying late when needed, and leaves my dog perfectly tired after long walks. He’s a very kind and considerate person, and I couldn’t recommend him more.
