Family Man and Animal Lover
I am a construction worker and stay at home dad during the off-season. I have had all kinds of pets throughout my life, but am particularly fond of dogs. My wife and 2 school-aged children are also animal lovers and take great care of our dog, gecko, and guinea pigs. I have experience with dogs of all ages including puppies and seniors. My previous dog developed Diabetes in his later years and required insulin shots, so I am happy to provide extra care to your special needs pet. While I do not currently have a cat, I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs and care for my family members' cats while they are away. As a pet owner, I know how challenging it can be to find trusted care for your pets. I can provide care in your home, where your pets will have comfort and familiarity. I can also care for your dog or small caged pet in my home. Our tri-level home offers flexibility and separation from our dog if needed, while always having a human companion nearby. I look forward to meeting you and providing love and attention to your pet!

I was very anxious about leaving my girls while I was on vacation. But Thomas and Kelly took great care of them and sent lots of pictures to ease my mind. I was able to enjoy my vacation much more since I knew my girls were in good hands.

This was Saga‘s second visit with Tom and Kelly. Once again, the experience was wonderful. They provided daily updates and lots of pictures. I recommend them highly and plan to use them again when I travel.

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home dad to school aged children so I have lots of free time during the day, other than school pick up/drop off. I am available from 9am-3pm and evenings on weekdays and at all times on the weekends. Being a stay at home parent provides lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am happy to try and accommodate special scheduling requests.

Safety, trust & environment
Pet care in your home: Your trust is of the utmost importance to me. I can provide care in your home for your dog(s), cat(s), or caged animals where your pets will find comfort and familiarity. I will work with you to maintain their regular sleep, feeding, and bathroom routines and spend quality time with your pets. I can even provide overnight care if needed. Boarding for dogs or caged animals: I have a tri-level home with a fenced in yard. Having 3 levels allows us to keep our dog and other pets separated if needed. We have a fully finished basement with a family room, spare bedroom and exterior access. This offers lots of flexibility in arranging a safe and comfortable stay for your dog. I live in a family friendly neighborhood and can take your dog on walks if needed or they can enjoy playing in the fully fenced backyard.

A typical day
I love to go on walks and work in the yard. I usually take a morning and evening walk. Your dog can also hang out in the fenced yard with me. Your dog will get the physical and mental stimulation needed and then can end the day relaxing on the couch with our family.
