Safety, trust & environment

House and garden are doggy proofed and saftey gated throughout (conforming to local & national animal welfare guidelines and inspected anually), indoor and outdoor play areas with toys, beds etc, pet's allowed on furniture, kitchen surfing permitted but not encouraged. Some owners prefer their loved ones to be the sole guest, this is subject to availability and an additional charge so please check first. Typically re dog walking, we go for a 1 - 2 hour walk in the morning, midday games and a 45min -1.5 hour afternoon walk however this is also tailored to breed, age and weather extremes (this includes costal paths, beaches, forests and estates, alternating through over 10 unique walks). I'm used to walking dogs off-lead after recall training (where safe and permitted) but I'm happy to walk on-lead as required. Sleeping arrangements are flexible as owners/dog's preferences vary, I try to accommodate so your pet gets the best night's rest possible, each dog has its own room if needed but are also welcome to sleep in my room or in the living room etc (I am licensed to a maximum of 3 dogs). You'll have the confidence that your loved one is well and having a great time as I strive to provide regular video diaries about what they have been up to, walks, games, relaxing etc.

Information Thomas H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours. For example if it is not comfortable around other animals, has specific medication requirements or health problems, has had any lapse in vaccinations, worming or defleaing. Please also make sure your dog's health insurance is up to date. If your pet is undergoing behaviour therapy or specific training that needs to be continued during stay please let me know. Please provide enough food, favorite treats and any relevant medication for the duration. Additionally, although beds can be provided, its advisable that you provide your pets usual bed and perhaps a favorite toy. Towels are provided as needed. I use johnson baby shampoo if soap washing is required, if that's not suitable please let me know. (Full checklist of what to consider sent after confirmation, council licensing regulations also require you complete a registration & consent form) Pets love schedules and knowing what's happening next, let me know what they get up to for fun and if you want to maintain a particular routine I'll be happy to accommodate.

Our two cocker spaniels loved their week with Thomas. Big walks, games and plenty of attention. Regular video updates kept us entertained whilst we were away too. Would certainly recommend Thomas and our fellas will be going back for more visits.

Our Pablo was treated wonderfully during his stay with Thomas. He was provided with plenty of exercise and enrichment and came home with a spring in his step It was the first time we’ve ever left Pablo with a dog sitter but the regular updates we received from Thomas really put our nerves at ease Huge thank you to Thomas - Pablo had a great time on his holidays 😊

We would recommend Thomas time and time again. He gave our three pooches the most exceptional treatment and they loved their holiday with him in Brancaster. We have only ever left our three with family/friends so it was a big thing finding someone who we trusted to look after them and we are so pleased we have. Thomas took the time to get to know them and understand their individual needs, stimulated them with walks and games and gave them the cuddles and attention they’re so used to. So all we can say is a massive THANKYOU to Thomas and if you’re thinking of finding someone to look after your beloved pooch(s) then Thomas is the perfect person. Thanks again from Indie, Jacob and Dobby and their parents.

Thomas was fantastic with Bear & he has certainly missed his holiday home after returning back to us! Thomas provided daily updates, videos and photos. Bear will certainly be returning next time we need it and Thomas will now always be our first port of call for dog sitting!
