I work full time, but am on a hybrid office/WFH schedule so am typically at home Wed-Fri, but can always be flexible. When at the office I am usually back around 6-7pm. When I work from home I have flexibility to take breaks for walks etc.

I live in an apartment with my girlfriend who also adores dogs, but with no pets currently. We are on Rover to try and fill the dog shaped holes in our hearts. We have plenty of dog parks around the area for walks, and parks for poops and pees. Most of all, we love giving dogs plenty of attention and adventuring the area!

Helpful to know how to access your unit/house. It would be great to know when your dog likes to eat, if they have any special needs or allergies, if they don’t like any certain things or respond negatively to anything.
A typical day
We’ll go exploring and visit some of the many parks in the area and drive into the city to find new sniffs to smell and dog friends. Highlands park is great for a shady walk to chase squirrels, and Met park is great to see new dog friends and sniff the numerous flower varieties. After that we’ll give your dog plenty of pets and belly rubs now that they’re all tuckered out.

On the weekends I love to take my girlfriend’s family’s dogs out for early morning runs and care for them when they are out of town (Black Lab mix and Jack Russell mix). I also care for my sisters 3 dogs when she is out of town (Great Dane, German Shepherd, German Short-haired Pointer I help groom them, (brush, brush teeth, and bathe) and take them for walks, runs, and most importantly adventures around the NOVA and DC area. Looking forward to meeting your fuzzy friend!

Thomas is a dog whisperer! Our dog can be timid with new people and situations and he instantly made her feel at ease. I really appreciate the offer to meet prior to her stay which I think helped. I had total peace of mind for the 4 days we were gone and knew she was being well cared for and spoiled :) Loved all the updates and pics. Thanks again!
Thomas and his girlfriend Lili were such great hosts for our pup! They were very attentive to his needs and sent lots of updates. We would definitely book again!
