I have had plenty of past experience handling and interacting with dogs. I have volunteered previously at the Athens Clarke County animal shelter through rescue paws at UGA, doing things like socialization and cleaning. I previously worked at Atlanta Pet Resort as an animal care attendant (this is what the majority of photos on my profile come from). My responsibilities mostly centered around taking dogs outside for their playtimes. This meant monitoring the dogs and keeping them safe while they were in groups, as well as keeping them entertained and active. I also spent a lot of time preparing food for the dogs that were boarding, cleaning as to prevent the spread of diseases (such as bordetella), and overall making sure dogs and cats that were there had everything they needed. I am well versed in how to handle a multitude of dogs differing in temperament and size as a result of this experience. Most importantly however, it provided me with an experience that fostered my love for dogs and all other animals.
