I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s).

I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.
Information Thomas C. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preference, they're all good dogs. I have worked with all sorts of breeds and mixes throughout my life, I have even worked with Wolf-Dogs, I can handle pretty much anything that is thrown at me as long as it is not a danger to myself, itself, or others. My Demands/Deal-Breakers (PLEASE READ): - No illegal drugs in your residence - Pets up to date on Vaccines - Pets have a Preferred and active Vet (otherwise I will take the pet to the closest vet in case of emergency, YOU will have to pay for care) - All pets have either topical or preventative flea and tick medication or collar (no “holistic” options) - No “Holistic” Medication or treatments in place of modern medicine - No bedbugs or known infestations in residence - CLEAR and FREE or Reserved parking for my vehicle (I’ve had my car towed before due to not communicating parking situations) - Pets must be house trained, I understand accidents happen, but I cannot deal with an accident happening multiple times (unless they are a puppy currently being potty trained) - ONLY dogs or cats, no exotic or unusual animals (fish and rodents are fine but are not covered under most pet insurances or Rover) I will apply an extra fee for any pet outside of Dogs or cats. - High Speed Internet in residence My Questions: -Are they neutered? -Are they leash aggressive? -Are they food aggressive? - Re they toy aggressive? - How do they communicate and relate to other pets in the residence? -What situations should I try to actively avoid or behaviours to watch out for? -How do they do around people? -Do they have any form of anxiety? -What medications do they take and what are the instructions for taking them? -Do they have any food allergies? -Are they scared of Men or other animals? -Are they used to humans touching their paws, ears, mouth, etc? -What is their personality like? -How often do they poop/pee? Are they house trained? -Do they have any medical conditions? -What is their feeding regiment? -Do they have a crate or cage or kennel? -Are they an 'Escape Artist'? -Do they have any special toys or items that will help their stay? -What can I do to make sure they have the best stay, visit, or walk imaginable?
A typical day
We can go on walks, run around at the dog park, play fetch in the yard, relax, meet new dog-loving people, go on car rides (if the dog and owner are okay with it), eat Puppy treats, and my personal favorite: lay down on the floor and give belly-rubs!

Pet care experience
My friends and family call me Tom Care-a-lot, Tom the Mom, and The Dog Whisperer. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. I have also worked for GoDog West Nashville and Morris Animal Inn. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me.
Reviews

Thomas gave regular updates and responded quickly. We came home to a clean house and happy pets. Will definitely book him again in the future.

Thomas was great with my dogs. Spe t lots of time with them and sent me plenty of texts and photos as I'd hoped. Definitely recommend.

Amazing!!! Absolutely amazing! Thomas took very good care of our Golden Retriever (Broddie) and Shih Tzu (Destiny). This was our first time using Rover for dog sitting, nervous and was very impressed with Thomas willingness to bond with our furry ones and ensure that he had everything needed to take care of both dogs. Provides daily overviews of the activities, and things done throughout the day (photos included). Not only did he take care of our dogs but was willing to take care of our Ferret and Goldfish and still did an amazing job! Very clean and organized with day planning and capable of working with a provided schedule. Will totally recommend Thomas to anyone!

Thomas is so sweet and my dog connected with him immediately. I was scared that my dog would be nervous the whole weekend since she has never been with a sitter before, but knowing Thomas is a Vet Tech student put us both at ease!
