New to Rover, forever a dog person
I'm new to Rover, but dogs have already been part of my routine for a while. My parents look after a friend's dog once a week, and I often join in, walks, feeding, playtime, the whole thing. I know how to help a dog feel settled and comfortable even outside their usual home, and I bring that same patience and attention to every dog I care for. I'll follow your instructions closely and keep you posted throughout, and while I'm new to the platform, I'm not new to dogs, I'd love the chance to prove that to you and your pup :)

Schedule
I work from home most days, so I'm around and available almost all the time, the only regular exception is Thursdays, when I'm out. I'm also quite active, which works out well: dogs get a proper walk, and if it's a cat keeping me company at my desk instead, that's just as good a day for me.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a small studio (36m²), but the area right outside is genuinely great for dogs, plenty of green space nearby. Happy to share more about the neighborhood once we're in touch. For cats, the studio itself is calm and quiet, which makes it an easy space to settle into.
A typical day
I'd love to hang out with your cat or dog and just have them chill next to me or on my lap while I work from home. On walks, I like to let dogs sniff everything and lead the way a bit, it's their walk too.
