Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs ever since my parents brought home Toby, a poodle, for my 6th birthday. Growing up in the country side in Austria, Toby and I would often go on long walks and adventures. He was truly a boy's best friend. Since then, I've been around dogs my whole life and I currently live with Lola, my 15 year old Labrador Retriever.

Information Tho S. would like to know about your pet
I love all breeds and welcome them into my home. What I really want to know about your dog before you drop him/her off, is what makes them happy. I want to make sure your dog has as great a vacation as you do! Aside from that, I need to know how much/often you feed them, whether they take medication or not, and anything else you think I might need to know to make their stay seamless.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We'll usually have one long and one short walk. The short walk will be in the neighborhood, a couple of blocks, some sniffing here and there, you know, "reading the newspaper". The long walk will be at Lincoln Park on Eastern Parkway or Prospect Park. Also if your pub stays longer than 2 days there is a walk on the beach happening too. Although there is no off-leash space there, I think it's nice to let them walk around some nature. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I have dog beds in most of the rooms in my house. I prefer that he/she stays in the bedroom with me and my lab as well, but if they prefer to sleep elsewhere, they are free to do so. Time I'll spend with your dog 2 walks a day (one of it in the park every day) longer stays than 2 days will have a beach walk too + time in the garden. There's usually someone at home during the day. Chances are your pup won't be alone more than a couple of hours a day, he will be part of our pack and we love hanging out together.

Pet care experience
Hi, I am Thomas, born and raised in Styria, Austria. I relocated to Brooklyn 2 years ago with my wife Gabriella. As a result of the move, I decided to take off my old shoes, leave the corporate world and no longer work as a Social Worker. Once I made that decision, it was time for me to put on my walking shoes and get into dog walking and pet sitting, which is what I love the most! I work as an independent dog walker and pet sitter and my priority is to treat your dogs as if they were my own. Respect, love, trust, happiness, responsibility, positive attitude, customer satisfaction are not only words for me, they are a huge part of my daily relationship with your loved one. I have been around dogs and cats since I am 5 years old, and most recently, I share my life with Lola, a 15 year old Labrador retriever. Lola is a part of the family and has travelled the world, relocating with us to Brooklyn where she's grown to love the city like we do.
Reviews
Reliable and always great with Vanilla

Thomas and family were excellent hosts to our adult pug over the winter holidays. They provided excellent care and frequent photo updates. They even took Olive on a field trip to the beach one day! Thomas was able to accommodate our needs for a pick up and delivery as well as administering oral medication. Highly recommended!
Thomas was great! He sent me pictures of Baxter every day and updated me with how Baxter was doing on a regular basis. Also, Thomas went above and beyond any sort of regular stay - he took Baxter on several walks and even took him to the beach! Thomas will be my first choice for all future boarding needs.
My pups love their stay with Thomas & Lola his yellow lab. Great house with lovely backyard for dogs to play. Thomas is great; obviously loves dogs and is very honest about what he does with them. He did a fabulous job taking care of my babies. He sent me pictures & I felt really comfortable. I would definitely use him again.
