I'll make sure to maintain their usual routine, keeping things stress-free and ensuring their days stay on track while you're away.

The more I know upfront, the more seamless and stress-free I can make things for your pet, so before we start, I like to go over a few key details: The basics of their routine: feeding times and portions, where their food and bowls are, walk or potty schedule, and any litter box setup. I want their day to feel exactly like it does with you. Their personality and quirks: are they shy, social, anxious, or full of energy? Do they have favorite toys, spots, or games? Anything that spooks them, like loud noises, certain people, or other dogs? Knowing this helps me read them right from the first hello. Health and safety: any medications (I'm comfortable giving them), allergies, dietary needs, or medical conditions I should watch for, plus your vet's name and number just in case. I'd also love any house notes like alarm codes, leash and key locations, and which areas are off-limits. Emergency contacts: the best way to reach you while you're away, plus a backup contact and your vet, so we're covered no matter what. I always recommend a quick meet-and-greet before the first booking so your pet and I can get acquainted and you can show me the ropes. Don't worry about overloading me with information, when it comes to your pet's comfort and safety, there's no such thing as too many details! 🐾

A typical day with me revolves around your pet's normal rhythm, not mine. I start the morning the way they're used to: fresh water, breakfast on their schedule, and a potty break or litter check right away. From there we settle into their day, a morning walk or play session, then quiet time while I keep an eye on them. I check in throughout the day with feedings, walks, cuddles, and playtime exactly when they expect it, and I'll send you photos and updates so you can see how they're doing. Evenings wind down the same way home does: dinner, a relaxed walk or some couch time, and a calm settle into bed. If I'm staying overnight, they'll have company through the night so they never feel alone. The goal is simple, by the time you're back, your pet's days felt completely normal, just with a new friend around.
