We take care of pets like they are our own, in the past when we have boarded dogs in our home we have adapted to what the pet is and is not allowed to do (ie sleeping in the bedroom or not etc.)

If they have special needs in terms of medication, or quirks that are helpful for us to know (ie they can jump on high chairs so push chairs in when you leave the apartment), and if they have any injuries we should be aware of!
A typical day
Regular walks, we have a dog park at our apartment and if the dog is ok with socializing with others we love to accommodate that! We are also close to the East Boston greenway and love to walk that with dogs too.

Pet care experience
My partner (Henry) and I love to watch dogs together! We have been surrounded by dogs our whole lives, from small picky eaters to large dogs that can run for miles. Growing up around dogs, we know that they are all different and respond to new people differently, but we have had positive experiences in taking care of family’s, neighbors’, and friends’ dogs in the past and have a ton of energy to do so. We love spending time outside and with dogs and have dog-sat before, including experiences wherein we did not stay in the owners’ home, but visited frequently to walk and feed their dog, and we have dog sat in our own home, so we are comfortable with adapting our services to any of your needs.

Theresa and Henry are wonderful caretakers! They were very attentive with our senior dog and followed the detailed instructions for food and medical care that we provided. Plus we got cute photos and updates daily! Highly recommended!
Theresa was wonderful with her dog, Ziva. She followed Ziva’s lead on what she needed and wanted. Everyone was smiling when we came home. I highly recommend her
Theresa was great with Madden. She sent frequent (but not overwhelmingly often) updates and photos. My dog seemed really comfortable with her and her partner, and he can be really anxious. They were great and I'd be happy to have them stay with Madden again
