I own 2 huskies. I've volunteered with a dog rescue for 10 years fostering all types of dogs... 50 of them in fact. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well.

Theresa has been amazing! My pup is pretty energetic but easy to take care of & she handles him amazingly. I love that she spends the full 30 minutes walking him as I am working so I know he’s not missing out! I am very happy to trust her with my fur baby! And will be booking again!

Theresa and Joe have taken care of our 3 dogs for years like their own children! When our youngest, most energetic dog had to be on medical crate rest for 6 months they were so patient and understanding of his needs and him having to remain calm when all he wanted to do was run around and play. I trust them both to take care of our fur babies and provide them with the highest level of care and love!
I’ve known Theresa for years and she’s wonderful with every dog she meets! We foster for a local rescue so she has experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and shapes. She’s comfortable with dogs with behavioral concerns and medicating pets if needed. If you’re looking for an experienced handler to tend to your dogs while you’re at work or out of town, she’s the best pick!

Schedule
We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime.

Safety, trust & environment
My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. My female dog is a princess who sleeps on the couch, but my male needs to be kenneled to keep out of trouble. We have a dog door to allow our dogs freedom to go in and out as they please.

A typical day
As firefighters our day changes constantly. I now have older dogs in the house so we mostly relax all day. When I get younger fosters we will take afternoon or evening walks, go to dog parks or take trios to socialize and exercise. My day depends on the needs of who is staying with us.
