Theresa is my go-to for both pet sitting and house sitting when I’m out of town, and she takes care of my herd as if they were her own. She’s managed my outdoor quail, kept up with my two delightfully energetic 60-lb “puppies,” and even won over my (slightly opinionated) 350-lb Vietnamese potbelly pig, Hamlet—no small feat since he tends to get a little grumpy when I leave. She is reliable and cares for them with the same love that I do, recognizing that they’re all princesses (plus one very robust prince) who should be treated accordingly. She stays overnight, leaves the house exactly as I left it, and always cleans up after herself and the pets. She’s wonderfully communicative, sending updates and photos so I know everyone’s happy. The fact that even Hamlet adores her is proof of her patience and genuine kindness. Theresa is responsible, trustworthy, and simply a wonderful human being—I wouldn’t trade her for the world, and I fully recommend her to anyone who wants their pets not just cared for but loved like family.

Schedule
I work full time in La Jolla. Dogs will be walked on lunch breaks. If they are small and well behaved, I may be able to bring them to work with me. On my days off, I love to go for long walks (with or without a furry companion!)
