Hi, I’m Theresa! ! I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds—including dogs, cats, and even birds. Before finding out about rover, I have pet sat for family and friends since I was a teenager. I specialize in giving extra love and attention to elderly pets who may need a little more patience and gentle care. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime visits, or overnight stays in your home, I make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to keep up with routines, medications, and those little details that make each pet unique. I currently only take one dog/cat at a time, unless they are from the same family. This is perfect for dogs/cats who may not get along with others or needs a little care and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
On walks, I go at their pace, give them fresh water, and plenty of attention. During visits, I handle food, water, litter/potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m also gentle and patient with senior pets, keeping them on their routine and giving them extra care.

Theresa was excellent and accommodated a last minute-ish booking. This was the first time I trusted a sitter and left my doggie son with someone other than family. Theresa made him feel right at home. She eased my anxiety with random updates and pictures throughout the day and answered my questions promptly. Absolutely recommend Theresa!
Theresa was amazing with our cat Tofu! She was kind and professional and took great care of tofu. He was instantly comfortable at her home and came back to us happy and well cared for. Would definitely book with her again!
Theresa was the first non family member I’ve ever left my two dogs with and I was very nervous at the thought. We had a virtual meet and greet the week prior to my trip where she met my dogs and I explained their medical issues i.e. morning and night meds, and their peccadillos - a senior mini that needs to be carried up/down stairs and a younger, neurotic adopted terrier. I felt very confident leaving them with her and she was so accommodating. She sent me pictures and updates and I even found out later that she let my mini sleep with her when he started crying beside her bed that night :) Thank you for taking such great care of my babies, Theresa!!

Ok. Here is a genuine honest review and not some weird ai generated review I’ve seen on others 10 outta 10. I can tell Theresa really likes dogs from the affection I saw when she met my dog. Annnd she was on time, communicated very well and even showed flexibility because I booked the same day. Will definitely use her again on that fact alone.

Schedule
I currently work a hybrid job and have lots of time for walks and cuddles when working from home. Also available for weekends when you want to get away on a little vacation.
