For days when the weather isn’t ideal, I have a large indoor area where pets can still get the exercise they need. We’ll start with a lively morning walk, allowing them to explore the scents around our rural acreage. After our walk, we can enjoy some playtime in the yard, engaging in fetch or simply enjoying each other's company. For pets that enjoy a quieter day, I’ll provide cozy spaces for relaxation, along with plenty of cuddles and gentle pets. As evening approaches, we might head out for another stroll. If the weather isn't ideal and energy still abounds, we can head into the barn for some puzzle toys or training exercises.
