I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!
