I have more than 22 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, as well as farm animals including chickens, pigs, alpacas, sheep, horses and donkeys. I’ve also fostered both dogs and cats for the SPCA and my local animal shelter. I’m comfortable caring for puppies and kittens, senior pets, large dogs, multiple-pet households and animals requiring medication. I have a particular soft spot for big dogs, but genuinely enjoy animals of all sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments. I’m quiet, responsible and attentive to each pet’s routine. I know how important consistency is when their people are away, so I do my best to stick to their routines and do what I can to make them feel safe and comfortable.

I care for pets in their own homes, where they can remain comfortable with their usual routines and surroundings. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, crates, sleeping arrangements, door and gate security, and interactions with other animals. Having owned a home for many years and completed numerous house sits, I understand the responsibility that comes with being trusted with both someone’s pets and their home. I’m tidy, respectful and careful to leave your home as I found it.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my routine. I have flexibility in my work schedule and can provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, medication, and company throughout the day. I enjoy walking and being outdoors, so I’m happy with active dogs, but I’m equally comfortable with senior pets or animals who prefer a quieter routine. When house sitting, I’m able to spend plenty of time in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment.
