Update: I currently have a part time job that may require me to be gone from the house for 6-8 hours at a time. Hi! I’m Thea! (she|her) I’ve been caring for animals most of my life, including dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and rats. I’m currently a proud dog mom to Banjo, my energetic and affectionate four year old super-mutt (mostly cattle dog, but she keeps her secrets). After a few years away from Rover, I’ve reactivated my account, and I’m excited to meet some new furry friends! Whether your pet is high-energy or more low-key, I adapt to their needs with patience, consistency, and affection. I believe in positive reinforcement, clear routines, and making sure your pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with senior pets, quirky personalities, and pups who need a bit of extra time to warm up. Let me know how I can help! Whenever possible, I love taking dogs to walkable, nearby parks for some fresh air, sniffing adventures, and playtime. I always tailor our time together to their energy level and personality, whether that means a long walk, a game of fetch, or just a calm stroll with lots of sniff breaks. I also like to bring mental enrichment into the mix, like practicing simple commands, using toys or puzzles (if provided), or even just chatting with them like a goofball to keep them company and engaged.

Thea took good care of our animals including daily medicine doses in my dog’s eye. We were gone for 10 days and all animals seemed happy and cared for.
Thea was wonderful! She came for an initial meet and greet before the stay and then came again right before since some time had passed and she honored my desire to have the dog reacquaint with her before the stay. She was very communicative throughout, sending updates and pictures. She left my home just as she left it and was great overall.
Thea house sat my dog for a week. I most definitely will use her again as a house sitter. She bonded with my dog immediately. Upon our return, I found the house immaculate. Our dog looked great and was obviously well cared for. The bed sheets were washed and dried. It’s almost as if I had a dog sitter and housekeeper in one. ROVER is LUCKY to have Thea!!!!!
Thea did a wonderful job taking care of my dog for the day. She sent me a video which reassured me that he was being cared for. She left the house spotless as well. I look forward to using Thea again soon for our next vacation. She has already been booked for that trip.

I’m currently exploring new job opportunities, which means I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I’m prioritizing it in my daily routine. Whether it’s a morning walk, mid-day check-in, or overnight stay, I’m happy to build my days around keeping your pet happy and cared for.
