A Loving Home Away from Home
Whether you need a day to run errands, an overnight getaway, or a much-needed vacation, I would love to host your fur baby. I'm conveniently located at exit 18 in Kirkland near Kirkland Urban. I live in a quiet complex near parks, the Kirkland waterfront, and miles of walking trails. I work primarily from home and cherish the added companionship of a dog. If your dog loves to lounge, we’ll get along great and if they enjoy dog park excursions we’re sure to have fun as well. My home is dog-friendly; couches and beds are not off-limits because who doesn’t love to snuggle? While I don’t have any breed preferences, I do specialize in caring for smaller dogs under 30 lbs who are potty trained. I require an advanced meet & greet to ensure a smooth transition from your home to my home for your doggo. Some things I’d love to know: - Does your pet respond to basic commands off-leash? - Has your pet been watched by someone else before? - Does your dog have any food allergies or sensitivities I should know about? - Is your pet potty trained? Thea was wonderful with Jordon. Now that he is older, he is moody and likes to be left alone. Understanding Jordon and dealing with him takes a very experienced and patient pet sitter. Thea was very response and sent updates about Jordon. He came back home a very happy boy. Will use Thea again during our travels.

Schedule
I work primarily from my home and typically use my break and lunchtime to take puppers on short walks around my neighborhood. I value the break time; exercise for your dog and me! ;-)

The furniture in my home is dog-friendly and I have many blankets for your pet to snuggle on and keep cozy with. I will also reinforce your rules and/or training in my home as needed. Dogs are always leashed when outdoors.

A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood and to the local park are always fun with puppers. And if it's okay with you, we'll go to the local fenced dog park, followed by snuggles in the evening.
