I’ve had my dog since I was 7 years old, I’ve looked after him ever since, walking him regularly, feeding him, giving him water and washing him. From September 2023-July 2024 I did animal care (level 1) but I was working with the animals and doing health checks on them regularly, this includes dogs, and other animals. Alongside this course I did dog grooming where I worked for about 3-4 months as a volunteer as a part of my course.

In my home, I take my dog on walks regularly, feed him every day in the evening and if he’s got a lot of energy and needs to run, as I can’t let him off the lead, I let him off I let him in the garden and throw a toy for him until he’s tired. In an owners home if I’m looking after their dog overnight or even just during the day, if they get fed at specific times, get walked at specific times ect I will set reminders on my phone for each thing to ensure I never loose track.

Thandi spent the day with our 18 week old whippet who is full of energy and very bouncy. She was calm and patient with her despite Twig being a bit bitey and scratchy at times. I think that they got to know each other a lot better.
I had my first house and dog sit with Thandi, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We had a meet-and-greet beforehand, and she looked after my Frenchie, Lemmy, in my home. Thandi was calm, polite, and an excellent communicator throughout. She took great care of Lemmy, left the house clean and tidy, and I came home to a happy, well-looked-after dog. When my food delivery didn't arrive, she even went out to buy food for Lemmy, which I really appreciated. I found her to be reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again or recommend her to others.

Thandi stayed at our house and looked after our lurcher (teenage w slight separation anxiety) for 3 Days. Thandi is relatively new to this business and I was impressed by the questions she asked; she was keen to get to know our dog and work with to us on the less easy aspects. Thandi communicated well via Rover. She and our dog became the best of friends (the dog sulked when she left) and I got lots of pictures of fun walks and games. Thandi left the house very tidy. Definitely recommend her.
Thandi did a really good job of looking after my dog Kimi today. Her communication was excellent and she sent me some great pictures of Kimi enjoying herself!
Thandi has done a day sit for our dogs, and she did an excellent job. Very attentive and sent regular updates. One of our dogs can get separation anxiety, and is unsure around new people, but Thandi handled it excellently, and we will definitely be using her again.

Schedule
Well at the moment I’m actually doing a dog grooming course (once a week 9-5) and look after my dog when I’m at home as well as hopefully now looking after others dogs/animals.

- If your dog has any special needs or medication that they’re on and I’m looking after them please tell me ahead of time as I would never want to put any dog in danger and I’m sure you wouldn’t either, what I mean by this is, for example if your dog is prone to having seizures, as different dogs express them differently it’s important I know their tells or symptoms before hand.
