Animal lover since I was born!
I've had pets since I was born from dogs, cats, hamsters, a guinea pig, a duck, fish and turtles. I began training dogs when I was 12. I board the dogs for my neighbors in my building, and they gave me the idea to take on more fur babies as I work hybrid. I am on the office Tuesday through Thursday so times of availability may vary those days. My 11 yr old daughter has also grown up around animals and knows how to behave around them to put them at ease. She is my pet whisperer. We give great cuddles, belly rubs, and walks!

Tez is amazing! My cats were feral, so they take some time for them to warm up to people and Tez has taken her time over the years to become best friends with them. We can barely pick up our cats and she was just recently able to pick up one of them so I think that speaks volumes to how good she is with cats. She has also been super nice in watering our plants a few times and bringing up our packages while we are away. I highly highly recommend Tez, your cats are missing out if you’re not using her as a sitter! One of our cats was even on Lexapro for some time and Tez was really good with giving him pills.

Tez is reliable as always and pretty much the only person I trust with my cats. I really appreciate the extra attention to detail she puts into everything — my cats can be messy sometimes, and she’ll even help sweep up scattered litter or take care of little things like resetting the lockbox on my door back to zero before she leaves. It’s such a small thing, but it really reflects how thoughtful and thorough she is. I always have peace of mind knowing my cats are in her care.

Schedule
I work a full time hybrid schedule and in the office 2-3 days a week. I can board/check-in on animals all week long with a flexible schedule to accommodate walks and play time. My cats often join me on zoom calls.

Safety, trust & environment
I always spend time with a new boarder to help each fur baby get acclimated including my 2 cats with their new house guest. Bedrooms are gated to prevent a new tenant from getting into too much trouble. I do prefer crate trained dogs so both the dog and my dog & cats can feel secure at night.
Pets
A typical day
I take my pup for a walk early every morning and weather permitting, take a long walk or trip to Washington Park dog run to play catch and to run and play. I strictly monitor any pup in my care to ensure fun and safety. With cats, they are with me all day long if I'm working from home usually joining me in zoom meetings or deterring me from writing emails.
